With this shield some believed the gods would protect them, and by having one in their dwelling, it would bring health, prosperity and happiness.
This special Mandella has a shield of rabbit pelts accented by leather lace and glass beads with soft spun wool tails. A colorful complete pheasant pelt forms the centerpiece. You have to see and feel it to believe its beauty! Hand made in Mexico.
